HIE Regionally
At Hielix, we work with the broad mix of regional, HIE-related stakeholders to create operationally sustainable solutions for the challenge of seamlessly exchanging healthcare information. Generally, these stakeholders are developing a RHIO to affect the safety, quality and efficiency of healthcare as well as access to healthcare through the efficient application of health information technology.
Our team has led the planning, design and development and implementation of healthcare exchanges nationwide. In addition, we provide the following strategic and implementation services for developing or existing RHIOs:
- Financial sustainability
- Strategic and operational planning
- Integrating hospital, physician practices and other providers to the RHIO
- Developing clinical messaging so the referring physician is integrated with the discharge summary
At Hielix we work with our partners to create regional healthcare exchange solutions that are inclusive of the stakeholder environment and ensure HIT implementations are handled smoothly and without disruption. The RHIO and their healthcare provider customers (acute care hospitals, ambulatory physician practices, clinics, etc.) not only gain confidence in the exchange but make utilization a sustained practice within the community.
