Market Launch & Operational Sustainability

Market launch is the transition from concept to reality. It is driven by the alignment of the processes, procedures, and systems of the HIE to the operational processes, procedures and systems of each participating stakeholder. This is the step that allows each stakeholder to actually exchange patient data and information between all of the accredited stakeholders in the HIE.

Operational sustainability is the ability of the HIE to sustain continuous operations from internally generated revenues. Stakeholders use commonly accepted systems processes, and procedures that allow the HIE to improve healthcare and lower overall costs within its medical trading area independent of recurring rants and other state and federal assistance.
