Patricia A. Dodgen, CPHIMS - CEO

As a senior executive in financial, technical and operational management, Patti brings a depth of experience to Hielix in the creation and execution of sustainable healthcare IT solutions, ranging from electronic medical records, to state-wide health information exchanges. Her specialized experience in the telecommunications, broadcasting, print media, and computer technology fields adds the breadth of understanding necessary to seamlessly integrate health information technology with the operational realities of her customers.

Since co-founding Hielix, Patti has extended her ability to create sustainable IT solutions into a position of market leadership for the adoption of electronic medical records in physician practices and the implementation and reporting needs of achieving Meaningful Use as defined within the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Patti has become a much sought after speaker for her understanding of Meaningful Use and the adoption of electronic medical records within healthcare provider organizations. She regularly speaks in front of regional healthcare organizations as well as continuing to provide leadership and support to the HiMSS’ ARRA Ambulatory Workgroup. Dale S. Emerson - COO

Dale leads the Hielix planning and implementation of state-wide HIE-related services, including Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIO) and health information exchanges. His extraordinary leadership, creativity and facilitation skills allow him to bring diverse and often competing interests within health information exchange management into alignment around common goals.

Specifically for Hielix state-wide HIE practice, Dale work with diverse groups of stakeholders to lead the implementation of Hielix’s HIE Framework. The HIE Framework [link to framework main page] represents foundation of the company’s success in developing sustainable HIE-related services. Developed specifically for Hielix customers, it provides the foundation necessary to arm HIE planning and implementation with the organizational capabilities of leadership, strategic thinking, financial sustainability, operational outcomes, performance measures and employee training and education.
